Deciding to use solar and wind power for
residential use may seem like an intimidating task but I’m here to
tell you that it’s easier than you might think. Not only is it
easy, it is VERY SMART. Let me explain.
First off, I have cut my electric bill
be nearly 65% due to the solar panels I have built. Not to mention
that the whole setup cost just under $200. Now how’s that for
“going green”.
Let me give you a brief overview of just
how you can use solar and wind power for residential
use. The following
materials are all that it takes to complete the job.
Solar Panel (12V is fine)
Charge Controller
Battery
Inverter
This is a really simple solar power
setup that can be used for residential use or whatever and can
literally pay for itself within the first few weeks that you put it
to use. What I built is one of the most basic and common setups.
The best part is, at the completion of the project, you should only
spend around $200. Now that’s what I call getting a good return on
your investment.
